We are registered with Ofsted who carried out an inspection in December 2004. Click here to see the Ofsted inspection report. |
| Sure Start
Our pre-school is in a designated Sure Start area, there is a local office just around the corner. They promote the pre-school to parents and help enlist children onto our books. Sure Start have a well trained staff on which we can call for help, including nursery nurses, health visitors and speech therapists. |
| Pre-School Learning Alliance
We have been a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance from the very beginning. They provide no end of help in the guise of a development officer, a toy library van which hires out toys on a termly basis (some of which we could never afford), the provision of curriculum boxes and affordable art materials, courses for the staff to update their qualifications, a termly newsletter and, on a national level, insurance and a monthly magazine. |
| London Borough of Waltham Forest Children's Information Service
The Children's Information Service provide lists of pre-schools registered and childminders for parents, they have links with Leyton and Lea Bridge Childcare Association (LALCA} who have a job bank, they will advertise any positions we might have available. They provide a newsletter, surgeries for any problems that need answering or forms that need filling in. They also hire out fundraising equipment such as a bouncy castle, popcorn machine and a candy floss machine. |
